The SM6RMTRI heavy-duty midsize tablet tripod mount is part of Arkon’s Robust Mount Series. It mounts directly to 1/4”-20 tripod bolts, and is compatible with 7-8” midsize tablets, including iPad mini, Galaxy Tab S 8.4, Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and 8.0, Galaxy Note 8.0, and Nexus 7. It also fits smartphones up to 8” screen size, including iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, and iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. This mount is ideal for stable live streaming, either by holding the pedestal in your hand or by attaching the pedestal to a tripod bolt. The mount includes a Robust Series Mounting Pedestal, tripod bolt adapter, and Slim-Grip Ultra Midsize Tablet Holder. The Slim-Grip Ultra midsize tablet holder features a spring-loaded design that makes it easy to insert or remove the tablet by pushing down on the lower legs of the holder with one hand. Included with the holder are 8 support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions) that work with the spring-loaded holder to accommodate various size midsize tablets. These support legs are inserted onto the top and bottom of the holder and can be adjusted to keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed. For most midsize tablets, the best holder configuration is to attach 2 short support legs on top and the 2 longer support legs on the bottom of the holder. For smaller tablets, use all 4 short support legs on the holder. For vertical viewing, adjust the 360° swivel. The tough, low-vibration pedestal measures just under 4 inches high and is made of plastic and glass fiber. The pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing flexibility in positioning the tablet at any angle.
