The RMS2XAMPS-MET-SH 4-Hole AMPS Mounting Pedestal is part of Arkon’s Robust Mount Series. It features a pedestal that measures just over 4” tall from end to end, which is ideal for tight areas where a smaller pedestal is beneficial. A metal 4-Hole AMPS drill base as well as a metal AMPS head are included for added stability. Security hardware is also included for use in commercial or enterprise applications to keep the mount secure. The mount can be drilled into solid, flat surfaces, such as car dashboards or consoles, as well as to walls, tables, and workbenches, and is compatible with tablet or phone holders and devices having a 4-Hole AMPS pattern, including Arkon’s Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder (TAB001-AMPS). This also includes cameras, GPS devices, or satellite radios. The AMPS drill-base pattern consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). This tough mounting pedestal is also ideal for mobile radio holders, housings, and other devices used by public safety, construction, and utility applications. This package includes only the Heavy-Duty 4-Hole Metal AMPS Mounting Pedestal with 4-Hole metal AMPS Head with security hardware. No holders or adapters are included. The arm of the pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing 360-degree rotation and the ultimate flexibility in positioning the device at any angle.
