Remove the rubber insert on the side of the Mobile Grip 2 holder to reveal an industry-standard 1/4”-20 threaded camera mounting pattern for use directly on camera tripods, a great feature that provides additional versatility.
Arkon’s sticky suction mount is ideal for hard surface car dashboards, windshields, and other flat or slightly textured surfaces. The car dock’s base uses a powerful combination of polyurethane gel and suction to provide a maximum surface bond. (In order to prevent permanent indentation marks on soft vinyl, leather, or similar dashboard surfaces, Arkon recommends using the included 3M adhesive mounting disk.) While powerfully strong, the sticky suction mount is also easily removable and reusable. If it has a drop in performance, just rinse the suction pad with a mild liquid soap and warm water, and then air dry to restore the suction. The arm of the suction mount adjusts vertically and provides 360° rotation, providing flexibility in viewing the smartphone from any angle.
