Arkon's family of Powered Cigarette Lighter Socket Mounts are the perfect solution for holding and charging
your mobile device. The mounting bracket / holder plugs into nearly all 12V car charging outlets
or cigarette lighter sockets.
There are 3 versions of the lighter socket mount. One features a power dongle that acts as the power slot
since you're taking up the existing power outlet in the car. The second version features a Micro USB charge
cable. Lastly, there are several which include a
Mini USB connector for direct connection and power to
portable navigation devices (PNDs) made by Garmin or TomTom
and mobile phones made by Nokia, HTC,
and others. Check specifications for each mount listed below for compatibility.

Your car's 12V / 24V accessory outlet is a convenient and unique location for mounting your cell phone. With Arkon's SM321, you're able to hold the phone securely from the outlet slot. The power dongle acts as the primary charging outlet since the car's outlet is being used up by the lighter socket pedestal.
Universal holders are not phone specific, though they work with nearly all phones including those that have protective cases or skins on them. SM321 is better suited as a mount for your phone's handsfree calling, or to keep your phone within close proximity.
