Arkon's SM215 features the compact, yet powerful, Travelmount® windshield suction pedestal.

A 70mm circular adhesive console / dash disc is also included. It allows you to attach the windshield pedestal to other areas in the vehicle such as the dash or console. Simply stick the adhesive disc in the location where you want to hold your phone and then attach the windshield suction to the flat surface on the disc. Using the adhesive is optional though as most people choose the windshield mount installation.

To install, loosen the passenger side seat bolt nearest to the console. Connect the pedestal base (shaped like a washer) under the bolt head and then retighten the bolt. It's fairly simple! See the installation manual for detailed instructions.

Arkon's SM228 features a 1 inch tall pedestal that adjusts to fit nearly any angle. The triangle shaped adhesive base of the pedestal can be installed on your dash or console. Due to the strength of the adhesive, this solution is recommended only for semi-permanent to permanent installations. Screws are included for an optional (more secure) screw mount installation. Please consult with an installation professional when using the optional screw mount installation as this method requires drilling into your vehicle and causes permanent damage. For some fleet vehicles, it's the ideal solution. For most consumers though, they opt for the standard adhesive mount installation so that the damage to the vehicle is kept at a minimum.
