VEHICLE SPECIFIC MOUNTING (VSM) PEDESTALS
Arkon offers a selection of vehicle specific mounting pedestals (brackets) that
bolt directly into pre-existing
holes usually located behind the car's radio or within
the dashboard trim area.
Vehicle specifc mounts are the mounting bracket of choice for professional installers.
They provide a low-profile, unobtrusive, secure connection to the car's dashboard
(via existing screw holes inside the dashboard).
VSMs differ from the mounting
pedestals made by Arkon in that each VSM is
compatible only with a limited number
of cars or trucks. They are "vehicle specific"
and must be ordered accordingly. VSM mounting pedestals are typically more difficult
to install than universal style mounting pedestals. Consult with a professional installer
as needed.
Notes: VSMs on this page include Arkon's Dual T-Tab mounting adapter
SP-SBH-KIT, making them compatible with Edge Products' CS and CTS
performance tuning products.
