Arkon manufactures an extensive selection of AMPS compatible adapter plates and holders. The AMPS pattern is widely used by 3rd party manufacturers (such as ProClip, Brodit, ProFit, and Panavise) of Vehicle Specific Mounts (VSM).

VSMs are popular throughout Europe as they bolt directly into pre-existing holes usually located behind the car's radio or console area. The VSM mounts bolt into the console area and provide users a very solid installation securely fixed to the vehicle.

Arkon's VSM mount bundles are "Adapter Plates" that convert the 4-Hole AMPS pattern found on VSM mounts (sold separately by 3rd party manufacturers). All of Arkon's VSM mount bundles include Arkon's patented AP032 4 Hole to Dual T adapter. A second component (known as the cradle or holder) attaches to the adapter thereby providing a complete mounting solution.

Best of all, this configuration allows the user to make use of their VSM, while at the same time enabling quick release (rather than a semi-permanent install) of their device. This is made possible via Arkon's Dual T Slot pattern found on the back of the cradle / holder portion of the mount. It can be easily removed from the Dual T Tabs that are on the front side of the adapter plate that mounts to the VSM mounting bracket (sold separately by 3rd party manufacturers).
